International Coordinating Body (ICB) Online Meeting, September 2024
The IMA - International Coordinating Body (ICB) convened virtually in two sessions–one on Sept. 8 and another on Sept. 14, 2024–to accommodate all of its global members.
The meetings focused on fostering a discussion about IMA’s Communique and Campaign Memorandum, which shall serve as a guide for IMA and its members in developing and organizing its initiatives and campaigns for the coming months. The campaign memo highlights the main issues confronting migrants, refugees, and displaced peoples as shared by and discussed among IMA members and circles around the globe; culminating in a campaign and fight for Jobs, Justice, and Peace.
The ICB members likewise put prime focus on a forthcoming conference organized by the IMA this year, which hopes to spark a discussion on the interconnections between war and displacement, and build stronger solidarities to stand against forced migration and human rights injustices. Initial planning and preparation for the IMA 6th General Assembly in 2025 are also underway.
The ICB remains steadfast in its commitment to consistently chart IMA’s vision and mission.
