Experience Sharing and Group Discussion On Challenges Faced by Bangladeshi Migrants in Malaysia

Migrant workers and advocacy groups came together on July 6, 2023, to discuss the struggles and experiences of Bangladeshi migrant workers in Malaysia. 

The sharing was held at the Film for Peace Foundation office in Dhaka, Bangladesh with Abdul Aziz Ismail (Independent Consultant & Migrant Rights Defender in Malaysia) as the guest speaker.

They were also joined by discussants Ms. Asma Khatun (National Program officer of IOM Dhaka Office), Professor Dr. Israt Sharmin (Chairperson of CWCS), Syed Mahbub Elahi (Chairman - OKKAF), Mr. Probir Kumar Biswas (Deputy Director BOMSA), and more academicians, media, CSOs, CBOs, and migrant returnees.”
